In this lesson from freeCodeCamp's Applied Visual Disign section we look at the box-shadow property. We use the box-shadow attribute when we want to apply a box shadow to an element. The box-shadow property allows us to specify a shadow for our element. The box-shadow property values are in this order: offset-x (this says how far the shadow will be horizontally from element), offset-y (this says how far the shadow will be vertically from the element), blur radius, spread radius, and a color value. We learn that the blur-radius and also the spread radius are optional values. Use the box-shadow property to add a nice shadow to your elements.
