Lesson

freeCodeCamp's Push Elements Left or Right with the float Property, Applied Visual Design

Lesson Summary

In this freeCodeCamp lesson we look at how to push an element left or right with the float property. We are taught that when we give an element the float property, it will remove that element from the normal flow of the document. We learn that it will push our element either left or to the right of their containing parent element. In this lesson from the Applied Visual Design section the parent element is the body so we see our #left element being pushed to the left of the body and the #right element was pushed to the right.
