Lesson

freeCodeCamp's Set the font-weight for Multiple Heading Elements, Applied Visual Design

Lesson Summary

In this lesson from freeCodeCamp's Applied VIsual Design section we look at using the font-weight property. A font's weight can be specified using the values "bold" or "lighter", but we all learn that we can use a number value to specify the thickness of our font's boldness. We learn that 900 is the heaviest bold we can apply while 100 is the lightest font weight we can apply. Using the weight of font correctly allows us to bring the eyes of a viewer to the most important parts of our content quickly and without struggle. Practicing the font-weight will help our content stand apart from regular looking content.
